Bring Us Together (feat. Big Shank & Adrian Smith)

about

This song deals head on with racism. While we may have different backgrounds, we are all children of God.

lyrics

Verse 1
The world is made of many things. Lots of different people. Many different dreams. A lot of different voices. A lot of songs to sing. We should live in harmony, but that’s not the way it seems. People see a different color and divide us for our race. If Jesus didn't die for everyone, then what’s the point in grace? But He did. If they would only seek His face. We are on the same team. Differences we will embrace. News channels push division probably because it sells. Hello an evil narrative. Integrity farewell. We’re trying to move forward, but in many ways we fail. Have we really moved past segregation? It is hard to tell. I’m so thankful to grow up with different races close to home. We loved each other equally. Through actions it was shown. We will work together. We are not alone, cause when we are a family racism is gone.

Hook
Lord, bring us together. Lord, bring us together. Lord, bring us together. Lord, bring us together. With Your love all the hate is gone. We can not do it on our own. Lord, bring us togeher. Lord, bring us together.

Verse 3
What will Heaven look like? How will it appear? (White man over there. Black man over here.) If you know the word, you see it’s all very clear. We will be together in the same atmosphere. No more pushing agendas. No more living horrendous. No more signs in the street, cause we all live in splendor. You can say it’s the end of a separation pandemia. We are here to remember that we are here to surrender.
