God it’s dark and it’s cold. I’m looking for You to hold me in Your hand and take control. I won’t give up. I refuse to fold. With lighting all around me and the winds that are very strong. And the land is so far from me. I’m a long way away from home. I’m right here in the middle of the sea and I am all alone. I’ve been gone for so long. Am I in a place I don’t belong? I’m miles away. I’m not familiar with this area. Waves crash the boat. It feels like they are going to bury ya’. Getting tossed to and fro, it becomes scarier. When you don’t see when the storm will end, it can lead to hysteria.

Lord I’m confused, but I still rely on You. I feel abused, by things I’ve been through. Well, I’ve been used. Put together You make me new. While the world refused, You see in a better view. I’m human and I’m faulty. I don’t always see as clear. Sometimes I act irrationally because of the fear. Like disciples on the boat that day they thought they’d disappear. It’s too easy to panic over the storm even though You are right here. The boat is beaten up and the sail is torn apart. Do You even care if I drown or if I’m swimming with the sharks? I want to hear Your answer. Please let’s have a heart to heart. Then, You said peace be still and the storm would depart.
